Tammy's case is a great example of interdisciplinary team work. Her case included the work of a cosmetic dentist, oral surgeon, orthodontist, plastic surgeon and periodontist. Tammy had both dental and skeletal components which were issues for her treatment. She wanted a better color and shape to her teeth as well as improve the appearance of a gummy smile. Through careful team work, a treatment plan was formulated and would evolve in phases over a 2-3 year period of time. The fianl result is wonderful and continues to make Tammy feel like a new person.
